Today I am very proud to comunicate to you, my dear readers, that my new articles on Spray Style Magazine (december 2009 - january 2010) are now published. MY VERY NICE NECKLACE

Dear readers, after so many days without updating Style Notes finally I am here again. I have been unhealthy but now I feel better.
During this period I have recieved my jewel ordered on VeryNice web site. I have choosen a "very nice" silver necklace with a round boule black glazed. The package was also nice. TREND ALERT - POLKA TIGHTS

Flicking trought the pages of an old fashion magazines (Grazia - Italiy - september 2001) I've noticed this picture from the Louis Vuitton autumn-winter 2001-2002 ad campaign. Those polka dot tights have attracted my attention because similar items have been showed during the autumn-winter 2009-2010 fashion shows on the catwalks by many fashion designer, such as Balenciaga, Emanuel Ungaro and Ruffian.







Polka dot in black ton sur ton, silver on black or on colours. But this trend hs obained also a certain popularity to the new fashion icon all over the world: the fashion bloggers. Cherry Blossom has weared polka dot and little hearts tights (Tabio) in some pictures on her blog, showing a particular 80's mood. My Daily Style shows little dots tights (Wolford) in a retrò-chic outfit and the italian L'arma(dio) del delitto shows other little dots (Zara).







So this fashion trend has come back. Do you like it?

AW 09-10 - LIKE A PEACOCK

After the peacock print that we saw during the last spring in Matthew Williamson for H&M collection, in this autumn-winter 2009-2010 fashion show some designer presented items with this particular pattern: Giambattista Valli, Cynthia Steffe, Milly by Michelle Smith.






You can wear a mini- or a long peacock printed dress with plain accessories or just some peacock accessories (shoes, bags and jewels) with plain clothing to give a touch of this particular style to your mise. I love these outfits in gold and black and in turquoise. And you?

Some days ago one of my readers, Emanuela from Italy, asked me to suggest her some outfits for the New Year's Eve. The party will be in a restaurant with some friends and after the dinner there will be the possibility to dance.
The occasion is very particular so I'd like to suggest her something elegant and surely sparling; but she is also very young and she is very sensitive to cold, so I've created also an outfit with skinny trousers, even if I think that the perfect mise for this occasion would be a mini dress, heels, clutch.

Brogues trend (well known as "francesine" in italian) is still one my favourite shoes trend for this autumn-winter 2009-2010. I love them both classic and open-toe, black and coloured but always laced-up and with 12cm heels. They are perfect in every occasion with mini-dresses or skinny jeans.

LONDON CALLING: SHOPPING IN HARRODS - MATTHEW WILLIAMSON AND MARC JACOBS

During my trip in London last summer I went to take a look in Harrods. All was very sparkling and wonderful but I loved more to go shopping in street-markets (such as Portobello, Camden Town or Coven Garden) where I can find particular and vintage items, and also in particular shops in Regent Street - Oxford Street, where I found brands that in Italy doesn't exist.
However, my favourite stands in Harrods were in woman fashion and accessories section: in particular Marc Jacobs  and Matthew Williamson.

GIULIELLI BY GIULIA BOCCAFOGLI - WAVES COLLECTION

Some days ago the jewel designer Giulia Boccafogli has shown her new Waves Collection during an exposition in a concept store in Milan, LIVELLO 16. So I had the possibility to know her: she is very nice and kind. And her jewels are really wonderful! Specially this last collection.
