LONDON CALLING: SHOPPING IN HARRODS - MATTHEW WILLIAMSON AND MARC JACOBS

picture: Harrods.com

picture: Harrods.com

During my trip in London last summer I went to take a look in Harrods. All was very sparkling and wonderful but I loved more to go shopping in street-markets (such as Portobello, Camden Town or Coven Garden) where I can find particular and vintage items, and also in particular shops in Regent Street - Oxford Street, where I found brands that in Italy doesn't exist.
However, my favourite stands in Harrods were in woman fashion and accessories section: in particular Marc Jacobs  and Matthew Williamson.

LONDON CALLING: SHOPPING ON PRET-A-PORTOBELLO.COM

Pret-a-Portobello

Pret-a-portobello is a virtual fashion market on the net, dedicated to selling fashion and accessories direct from the world famous Portobello Road and other fashion markets as the ones in Camden Town, Covent Garden and Brick Lane.
With it you don’t have to worry about the crowds or bad weather. You can have direct access to the great new design talent from London directly to your home.

These are some outfits with items from Pret-a-Portobello.com.
outfit with Blush Talullah Tu and Sarah-Jane B items
Sparkling Glam. A really unique design by Blush, this triangle print dress is perfect for this season over tights or leggings. It can be worn also with a belt. You can combine it with this fantastic leather bag from Sarah-Jane B, that can be worn in two ways: long across the body or double the chain to wear short over the shoulder. I suggest also a shiwy gold headband by Talullah Tu. Just put on some hight heels and you are ready to go!
outfit with Jarlo Talullah Tu and Leonie Saliba items
Blue Nights. This gorgeous dress by Jarlo is the perfect addition to your A/W wardrobe! The fabric drapes beautifully around the front, and the art deco belt adds the perfect touch of glamour. Team with blue jewels by Talullah Tu (ring and bracelet that also meet this season's big trends - chunky jewellery and bold colours) and a Leonie Saliba wallet as small clutch, with multiple zipped pockets.
outfit with Sido Goldie Torula and Kushion items
Black Chic. This black dress with a glitter top by Kushion is perfect to be combined with the amazing big flower headband from Sido: perfect for every special event. So easy to wear but so eyecatching, you won't fail to get noticed! Just add a simple bracelet such as this by Goldie London and a fabulous supersoft snakeskin print clutch by Torula, that can give a more trendy touch on the classic bag. Large enough to fit everything a girl needs on a night out.

Trench Coat Style. Keep right on trend with this wonderful Dahlia military-style coat (I love it from the first time I've seen it in the Dahlia shop glass in London)!! This cotton fabric is so perfect for layering over jumpers and knits this Autumn/Winter. A seriously chic piece, you can wear with almost anything. I suggest a gorgeous oversized corsage by Sido to glam up the outfit and a PVC shopper by Mo Bacchus.
